Thought a box would be a good idea but am getting to where I am tired of getting pounded in the hips when riding alot of rough trails and it getting hung up on branches and trees when riding narrow trails so am selling it and replace it with a soft bag. It keeps everything dry when out riding and plenty of storage especially when riding in winter when you pack everything but the kitchen sink.

Nothing wrong with it. I drilled 8 holes into the bottom to mount to my rack via u-bolts but they can be RTV'ed up to waterproof it and drill to your needs. No cracks but some minor scratches. You can see the same box at RMATV HERE!

If you want pics of it either off or on the machine and any scratches, PM me and I will get them to you. This is a local sale only as I will not ship it. I am flexable regarding delivery.

First $100 firm.

Shawn -

Have you considered re-mounting it farther back? might hang off the back of the rack, but who cares. Of course that won't solve the trees, but just a thought. I've heard alot of guys that go from soft bags to hard due to rips etc, but never one going the other way.

My rack prevents me from moving the box back. I have been debating this since mid winter and even thought of cutting my rear rack sides off but then I would not have corners from the rack uprights to strap things like coolers and chain saws to. I would rather get nylon sewn/repaired than feel like someone has been hitting my in the hips with a sledge hammer all day. Maybe some day I will decide to go back but it is going to take alot of bag replacements to do that.
