I have one of these for sale with Yamaha and Honda mounts.
bucket loader
Will fit other quads with the right mounting brackets. The main mounting assembly can be used on all quads.
I have finished what landscaping I bought this for. $200 picked up, or I might meet you 1/2 way depending on where you live.

Not interested in buying but I'm interested in knowing how this worked out for you as I'm sure others are. Was it worth the money? What was it that you were moving? And were you able to actually move our wonderful Colorado soil?

Thanks!

hot spit!

that might be just the trick to scrape out that dang rock border in my lawn and only seems to grow weeds.

You think it would work cabman?

I can post a pic if that would help you understand what I'm talking about.

Dave,

Yes, post a pic.

I used this loader to move topsoil from a dumped pile, and the same way with gravel. Tried to move River Rock from a pile with it, but not much luck, still faster than putting it in a wheelbarrow by hand though. I also used it to scrape our backyard of it's high spots. I would like to keep it just in case I ever needed it again, but seems I have too many of those types of things.

ok, might not work then, this is river rock that has been there for ages and has lots of dirt filling in the cracks along with weeds. Parts of it were easy with square shovel, others a real pita which stalls the project real quick. It's not 44 inches wide, but if I could put it up on the sidewalk that would be a huge help.

I have the wife looking for a pic, if she finds one I'll post it, otherwise I'll post a pic tonight.

kinda what I figured. Guess I'll take a pass.

While it might work slicker than snot, I don't really have the cash to chance it not working.

Best of luck selling it, would be cool to have for sure.

Too bad I don't live a bit closer. I'm about to redo all the rocks around my house and that thing would do the trick.

For what DAVE wants I'd rent a small bobcat type vechile. You are farther ahead using a machine that is designed for such doings.

Make sure you get one that mounts to the nose of your machine and not one that uses the push tubes that run under the machine. You will always be stuck on the push tubes. I balive all Polaris brand plows mount to the nose but not sure. The aftermarket ones are just starting to give ya the option to mount it to the nose so mine I bought 5 years ago had the push tubes till a week ago I choped them off and moved the mount to the nose. Now it lifts 18 inches off the ground instead of 8. If you get the Polaris plow I would go all out and get teh big V plow. It gives ya the option of running it in the V posistion or angaling it either way or straight or revers V to scoop the snow. I wish the aftermarket companies would come out with one for the ATVs but rite now you cant get a V plow for anything but the UTVs unless you have a Polaris. If ya get a straight blade, get a decent size one. I have a 48" unit and my Grizz pushes it like its not even there unless its wind blown hard drifts. 60" mite be a bit much if its hard or deep but a 54" would be good. I used a winch for a while but it destroyed th cable and edventualy the winch. I would get the power lift they offer. I built one with power up and power down so I can put presure on the blade to scrape good.

Polaris site wasn't real helpful. Hard to fine a "v" plow also what is cost of the front mount kit? How much am I realistically looking at?

I really like the Polaris Glacier II plow system. Once the plate is mounted on the quad, it just takes a few seconds to drive up, snap it on and hook the winch cable. The mount plate is also only 1/4 inch below the skid plate, so it can be left on for most riding. The bar does stick forward about 3-4 inches, so I usually pull it off when I'm done plowing, but don't have to worry about it if I get a chance to go riding in the winter.

The glacier II is also lighter weight than most systems. I have the 52 inch blade and at full angle it plows a 48 inch swath. Fits good on the public sidewalks. The 60 inch blade would be digging up everybody's sprinkler heads devil

Polaris used to list an adjustable V plow, but I don't see it anymore Shrug The mount is listed at $85, the frame at $250 and the 52 & 60 inch straight blades at $150 and $180. The top deflector they list at $50 but I just picked up a scrap of round baler belting, and bolted it on, the holes are already in the top of the blade.

Plow mounted and angled

I've got the moose RM3 (same thing as the glacier 2, they make it for polaris), and i love it. The only thing i would suggest is going with the 52 inch blade over the 60 as it's easier to maneuver. Otherwise it's a really good setup, very easy to put on and take off. I believe breese lawn and garden has them on ebay for a pretty decent price.

Ok this is really helping. I wondered about size also, sounds as if the 52 is way to go.
