I have a female friend that is looking at a a 2004 Outlander 400. It has under 600 miles, will need tires soon and has the usual trail scratches. It does run well.

Since I ride a Polaris I am not familiar with an Outty. What is a reasonable price range for one like this?

Look on Kelly Blue Book ($3895) or NADA ($3245) under motorcycles and that will give you a reasonable starting point. Also go to Power Sports Network for more information about them critters

Thanks Gordon. I had looked at NADA but not Kelly. We can get this one for quite a bit under those numbers. Since my friend is a new rider I thought that a 400 would work fine for her for at least the rest of this year.

Have a great weekend at Taylor Park...I sure wish I could have gone with you and Greg.

That thing should have all the power a lady should need for quite some time. And with it having IRS and all the other Can Am features, it will give you a good chance to really evaluate one! Big Grin

Leaving my house by 7AM, so we ought to be there, settled in and riding by 2PM!
