I am building two more of the gas carriers for the Can Am ATV's for a couple of guys. I was going to build 2 extra if someone is interested. Here is a picture of them. I have updated the design to add a pulling clevis plus the 2" box receiver. Comes complete ready to install with hardware and gas can. Very well built.

$175 plus shipping. If interested PM me and I can give you more information.

Nice design, but what happens if the gas vapors get close to the muffler pipe under there?

If you ride ATV's long enough, eventually they will ride you..

Good question... It is located on the opposite side from the exhaust and actually further away from the muffler than the factory tank vent. The factory comes off the top of the tank under the seat at the rear. The Blitz can is a closed system. I sure there is some venting but I don't think enough to warrant a problem. I have built about 10 of these so far and nobody has complained about gas vapors or smells from the tank... I just sent one to Northern Yukon and one to Nebraska...

Will it fit a Renegade 800 and is it easy to put on and take off?

Since I have never looked close at a Rene, I don't know. Being things the way they are, I doubt it... I don't think there is much that is interchangeable on these two bikes. As far as easy to remove, not really. It is made to bolt six places to the existing frame..Very secure and rigid....
