Polaris hinted at releasing a "Sporty" version of the Ranger that would smaller and only a two seater. The word is that Polaris was supposed to release it mid yr. then Polaris said "NO, we will make a commentment to No longer release mid yr. models." However Polaris is having a meeting in January somewhere in Arizona to unvail this new Ultility unit to its staff. Keep an eye out for this new model, its here and may be sooner then we think, or Polaris may just trying to hype it up. With nothing comfirmed I am under the impresion that this new unit will be narrower than the Current Ranger platform, but still wider than the Rhino platform. I guess we will see. I really hope for something to WOW us from Polaris cause It will most likely be my next Off road vehicle purchase. I like the Ranger but want more sporty feel, and I absolutly hate the rhino and prowler. Yes I have drivin both in off road situations and I still dislike them. Nothing personal.

I sure would like to see Polaris make a serious entrance in the "Rhino" market. The Ranger simply isn't the same size or intended use. Plus the Ranger in stock trim is pretty utilitarian looking to boot. I like the looks of the Rhino and Prowlers but have never driven, nor sat, in either one. I'd love that type of machine when the day comes I can afford it. If that day were today I couldn't buy the Polaris based on looks alone. I'd be meowing all the way to the garage though.

Let's get this sporty Polaris out from under cover, and let's hope it is meant to go head to head with the sporty ones from Yamaha and Cat!

Although it looks like it's a tight fit with 2, I like the styling, more so then the Rhino.

Im with Kenny, I really like the style of the machine. I am currently in the market for a sidexside for the wife, but a first year Polaris???? Brand spanking new??? Ill wait....

I have spent considerable time in a Rhino, even jumped it off a dune and landed on the nose once. THey are tough dependable machines. The RZR has its work cut out for it for sure.
