I have been looking in to geting a side buy side and have a few questions. I have been debating between the Rihno and the Ranger. I relay like the Rihno for its sportynes but want the fuel injection of the Ranger. Does anyone have any idea of a time frame for fuel injection on the Rihno? The dealer I was at yesterday that has both was pushing me twords the Ranger, and that is the way I am leaning. I realy likle the rangers fuel injected 2 cylinder vs the Rihnos carburated single. I want the fule injection for th ehigher elevations I see In Taylor park. That brings me to my next question/ Problem. How esaly does the Ranger/Rihno fit down the trails in Taylor Park. I know of 2 trails I have been on that there is absoutly no way a machine wider than a standard ATV would fit on but they both go nowhere so I can live with that. Has anyone run into any real problems fitting on trails were they regretted swiching from an ATV to side by side? My next isue is that my wife is pregnate and we will have a child buy time we get back to Taylor. Obviusly we will have to rethink our trip or cancel it all together but I am trying to avoid that. I would like the bench seat of the Ranger so that we could strap the car seat in the middle and take a leasurly ride with all 3 of us. This is also one of my isues with the Ranger. It is wider than the Rihno and I can see this being a propblem on the trail. The Rihno is a lot more comfertable to sit in as well but there is no were to put the car seat. I need sugestions and advise from people that have swiched and weather they regret it or not. Anyone tow there infants along with them in one? Obviously we wont be able to do any of the rough trails with the kid along but can take lesurly rides out site seeing. I have looked at both extensivly but forgot to take a good look at what it would take to rejet the Rihno. I have got it down to 1/2 hour on th ewifes Grizz but the engine is tucked down in the frame on the Rihno.

I'm sure you'll get the same impression, after all it is the Yamaha web site, they are trying to sell you a Yamaha. But check out the Head to Head comparrisons on The Rhino Page. Run your curser over the yellow highlights, and watch the video clips.

Although I did not buy one, I came awful close to getting a Rhino 450. I was going to sell the Kodiak, and then buy one. My Brother was in a hurry and bought that Trail Wagon. Again I'm not Brand loyal, I just bought a Honda. Wink But the Rhino had the features I liked best. Main issue being engine braking (for me)

I can tell you a bench seat off roading as they mention in the head to head. You get a work out trying to stay put, to not sliding on the seat.

A site that might answer some questions is http://utilityoffroad.com/. Remember Hard Core Jeep??? This is 1 of his sites.

We're picking the Ranger also. Mainly because of the baby's car seat. And I wanted to be able to add the back seat as well when needed.

I'd love to wait and get the RZR,.... But it dosen't look like there will any room for extra passengers.

The razor would be more fun, with the Ranger toughness, but you would have to wait a while to get one..All initial razores are sold already...

The new Polaris RZR is looking sharp. It's starting to appear on various PoPo sites. Anybody got any idea what the MSRP might be ??

Hi GUY long time no see. IO don't know about you but that RZR has some appeal, don't think enough to make me switch over. But If I was in the market for SxS would have to look at it real serious. Thumbup

I think we have just seen the birth of the second generation of SxS.

You don't have to be old to enjoy naps. After coming back from 3 days of hard riding in Moab, all I've wanted to do after work is nap. I sure can't wait until they come out because I sure would like to drive one and check it out. It make be the way that I end up going and maybe I'd even be able to get the wife out to enjoy the beautiful outdoors!
