picked up the rzr sat. took a short ride and then put it in the shop for a check over and some serious sticker removal and a tire wheel change. so far i like the thing, but i'm not impressed with the upper rear shock mounts or the front suspension geometry. i'm a suspension nut, so i may be overly critical, but i HATE bumpsteer......stroker

the rzr has a center mount muffler, so you think it would be in the center, mine was 1" to the left of center. seeing that it is new it was fairly easy fix. fit on the body panels is very good, and all fluids were ok. and toe was right at 3/16 out. more later.....stroker

took the toy to the local tavern this afternoon and the snowmoble riders couldn't quit talking about it, there must have been 40-50 of them at any one time, also it run pretty good on the few sno tracks i was on........stroker

oh ya, its the green one, the faster one. i really liked the red, but seeing that i'm planning on making it street legal, i decided that red might draw more attention than i really want......stroker

put the tire setup off my sptsmn. on the rzr, c series/type5 26-10-12 front, 26-12-12 rear, it's now 54" wide. with the spring thaw a couple of weeks away i went and ordered maier-usa fender flairs, pretty priecy but the installed pics look real good. as for future mods, not sure yet, i should leave it alone, but i know i won't. talked to qa-1 the other day about an atv setup, and there working on a pkg. for desert racing and general riding [ whatever that is ]. asked about a possible field test and didn't get laughed at and he asked for more info as to riding habits, mmiles per year, ect, so who knows on that deal. more later.....stroker

tks., cajun i've been spending a lot of time on the net looking at everything i can find on the rzr. i don't think i want it much wider or really need the long travel kits. i would like possebly some better spring/shock combo, and if anything maybe an ince or two lower. when i put the cseries/ type5's on the bike the width increased by 4", 50" to 54" with the different wheel backset. going to town today to pick up a relay so i can do what pol. didn't do. turn the rev. work lite into a backup lite......stroker

got a call from the dealer, said the winshield was in. i told them to check and make sure it wasn't cracked, if ok ups it too me. in the meantime i opened the pol. wipper kit and found the switch was broken. phone rings, it's my salesman telling me the windshield looked like a spyderweb when they checked it, now polaris sure knows how to charge for this stuff, but appear to be a little behind in the packing dept. all is supposed to be in by fri., we'll see......stroker
