NEW TO SITE.. I'M LOOKING AT DS-250 FOR MY SON. HE IS 13yrs OLD. LOOKING FOR ANY INFO ON THEM, HOW THEY RUN, ANY PROBLEMS ETC.. THE LIST PRICE IS 3299.00 WHICH IS NOT BAD.

Depending on his expierence,size and what kind of riding he will be doing is whether I would recommend the DS250. From what I know it seems to lack low end torque, it feels top heavy to me but I'm a big ol boy. Top end is ok for a beginner. If he has any expierence or is very big and going to be doing any rough riding (not in the yard or fire roads) and if the funds are available I would give serious thought to the 400 Outlander instead. Chances are he will become bored with the 250 by spring and will want a bigger machine. The 400 will last him for a much longer amount of time. (like until he is old enough to buy his own) LOL. Also, the 250 is actually built by a company named ADLY for Bombardier. BRPrider101 works for a dealer and we don't know of any major problems that have occurred with the 250's so far at his shop. My son is on the small side 5' + 105LBS.. He rides a 90. Most of the riding we do is on open fields with some trails + small hills.
