My 06 800 will not start at times and when this happens the check engine light is the only light lit during the key on bulb test and the check engine message is displayed. I can duplicate this every time by starting the machine , shutting it off and attempting a restart before the instument cluster powers down. If i let the cluster go to sleep it will usually light all the indicators on key up and start but sometimes it still only lights the engine light and will not fire at all. Has almost left me standed a couple of times. Anyone had thiers do this yet?

Yes... Mine has a small contact problem in the ignition and I have to turn the key to a certain point to start... if I turn the key all the way to the right it won't start.... I am gonna take mine to the dealer and have them chang my ignition system next week.. Mine started this about 4 weeks ago...

I had the exact same problem when mine was new Voodoo, the connector was loose on the back of the ignition switch. Don't know if that;s either of your problems, but it's a 5 minute deal to check it, so may be worth a shot before haulng it in to the stealer...... Shrug

Yep...just like mine, I had looked at my connector and didn't notice anything either, but the dealer swore that it was loose and an easy fix????? I have to admit my trust for that dealer is not the highest...so take it with a grain of salt. They did fix it in about 10 minutes though.

I really think mine's problem may be related to wiring... I hook up some aftermarket lights to my ignition system...and one of those wires may be crossing things up....

They all break no matter how expensive, and I think a new Polaris is pretty close to a CanAm these days in price. Besides...VD is responsible for his own quality control. ROFL

prune juice goodnight

Friend bought new machine other day in CHEYENNE. Dealer JED says that between WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY last week sold 26 machines. When asked why no RZR on the floor, answer was that they were sold as soon as they came in. He said 15 are on order and they have money for each of them, they are presold.

Dealer in GREELEY that is a real joke any way, has several sitting on the lot. Wonder why?

With he way side by sides are taking over, can't imagine any manufactor not having one on the market soon.

It should be in the 12th of MAY. Just in time for some good snow drift busting.
