Why is it that in such a beautiful setting, ppl have to leave junk along side the road? Slap rol

Dam that is purty, to bad we have such a short time each year to really enjoy it all. But at least we do get to enjoy it, many times I have thought about ppl that never have the chance to share what we have. Thanks for posting that helps pass winter days. Beer

You got that right.. Some people never really see the beauty we have been blessed with... It is ashame it only last for a short period of time like Cob stated... My office walls at home are covering with shots like this..less the Bomb.... Living away makes you appreciate that much more when you are there....

I love it out there too. It's hard trying to plan a trip to catch the "gold rush". I nailed it two years ago. I have an awesome pic of Mt. Sopris that I took from on top of the Flat Tops. I have it blown up and hanging on my living room wall. I miss my friends year round, but I love to go visit them. I'm trying to talk my little kids to go to college in Colorado. I want to move there. As long as they are in Kansas, I will just have to visit your beautiful state.

I couldn't resist the shot at the BOMB.

But that Pic is one reason that COLORADO is one of the most sought after destinations in the nation to ride so many places like that to enjoy. As good a photog as PB is and as great a pic as it is , it still don't really capture what you see with the naked eye. If you have not experienced COLORADO, plan on it you won't be sorry. Thumbup

For the last 20 years or so I have been photographing Colorado. Several high end cameras and the end result as Cob has said, the pictures may look fantastic but not when compared to the naked eye......

This one from a 4X5 shot is mounted 40" X 50" (Really! That big!) on mdf plywood in our great room. It is the cascade below the Sunnyside Mine in Eureka Gulch.

Sorry about that PB DEVIL MADE ME DO IT! Slap

I don't know of any other place in this country that you can find that kind of pic, then pull around the corner and start all over again with another breath taking view. You really caught the true color of the blue sky with that one. Thumbup

Flatlanders have no idea just how BLUE the sky really is, you have to look at it filtered with 10,000ft of crap in the air. You don't see just what a beautiful BLUE it really is.

Your pics remind me of some of the ones that I have seen JOHN FEILDER has in his books. A quality camera makes a world of difference. Cheap POS that I have to use don't come close. Thanks for shareing that one.

Now Cob, just because you took a cheap shot at the Bomb, you don't have to try to make up for it by bringing your Polaris into it....OH, you met the camera. Sorry. rol

I'd much rather pick on the Grizz gas boiler, charbroiler, 4-wheeled riding grill. ROFL Who Me

Now that's funny! Right rag horn? I think you should change your screen name to rag horn, I love that.

Now that's funny! I was waiting on something about the "low ridin', rail framed, soft sprung, brake screamin' speed demon"

I thought the thermometer said 46 this morning, so I changed the batteries, still read 46, actually was 4.6 I got to get better glasses.

Still beautiful out, blue skies, everything covered in a light blanket of snow, 6 muleies standing around wanting more apples, (I told her not to do that!) snow that plowed like granular sugar. We only had about 5 inches, what a blast plowing that at about 20mph, throwing a big plume up...
