Hi everybody, Well as soon as I sell my Scrambler there will either be a Outlander max 650 or a Polaris 800 X2 sitting in my garage. Are these Outty's any good at snow plowing? I've heard many people say they are more sport then work.

My Outty 800 is reserved for fun. Snow plowing, is handled by a Popo SP 500 with a worn out EBS clutch and a Cyclone blade. It does the job quite nicely even if it is hard to change gears.

I work at a Can Am dealer and we sell quite a few plows to Outty owners. No complaints so far.

The Outty is a great plower, you probably know we've been getting pounded here in Colorado. Drive way was 3' deep for about 150', what a blast clearing it off. No lack of power.
I'm not sure about attaching the BRP plow with the "required" skid plates installed. I had to drill some holes in my plates to attach the mount that I had kept from my Polaris. So i would recommend checking with the dealer if you are going to have the skids and plow on at the same time. It's easy to adapt, but the Polaris has a slick setup too.
