I wanted to go back out to get pics of the drags. But after standing out there all day Saturday I did not have the energy to deal with the heat again.

I was hoping the Can-am reps would bring some 09's wit them but they didnt. Over all it was a pretty small event I would say less than 4000 people showed up which is pretty small for an east texas mud event.

yeah...I think it was pretty dumb on Can Am's part not to have the 09's available to see and test drive, especially since they are already arriving at the dealer...

Thanks,

I was disapointed in that the Can-am trailer was without 09s.

It always a good time at the races when you win. LOL

All in all it was fun.

There were 5 Outys two gades and My Tcat in our 800up class, the new 840 setup did real well, nothing was really even running all that close to it. Tcat came in around 3-4th. It was double elimination, the 840 never lost, it was a clean sweap.

OH, and it was freek'in hotter than hell. My truck said 106 in shade.

Believe me when I say, it aint from lack of trying, I have looked high and low for one. A black one that is. I might even settle for another std red one, if I could find one and get a decent deal on one.

My dealer wants around 10k for the black xt. They are in Tn. so no sales tax for me. I would like to know more about them and the Sportsman 850 first. But hey I have been waiting for 2 years since selling the Rincon. I wonder how the Can Am financing is right now? I talked to a gncc racer on Highlifter who lives close to me and he said for the money difference he didn't know if it was worth it over an 08 model. Said mid range was stronger but not really much difference.........

Thats not real suprising, about the power. I am still trying to figure out how in the world based of reported 67hp number, that it could possibly pull off the claimed 1 sec improved 0-60, the numbers have never jived IMO.

I doubt it will have much if any different top speed, I learnd with the Tcat that the tires they used were the only ones speed rated for the 80 mph that it was capable of at leat that is what my dealer told me the said a the dealer meeting when the Tcat was launched last year. Those tires they are using now are the same ones, I supsect it will be governed the same way it is with the 06-08 75mph prox.
