If you are going to use a winch the frist theing you need is a good rope.

One more thing you should cut out the plaistic winch cover so you can see the cable.

Yeah a snatch block will definantly help also if you have enough length in your cable..
I prefer the rope ove cable AMSTEEL BLUE...

Yeah, I like the rope too, but you have to be really carefull and not let it rub on anything, the Warn "save a tree" strap is nice to have too, it's rated weight wise so you don't risk snapping a regular rope.
