I put 22.8 miles on it today, a slow easy ride for the most part. It's hard having a new machine and not seeing how the get up & go is. All I can say is you better have a good grip, or this thing will leave you behind. Oh Baby!!!

I'm learning I don't have a brake lever for my right hand fingers to grab. Front brake on the Bomb as you all know is on the left handle bar. Also learning I can't switch gears with my left hand. It was nice coming down a steep coal-dirt bank and not needing the brakes, engine braking took care of that. I did try the visco-lok out on the coal-dirt as well, I like it!!! Ride is a little stiffer, but it's still new. I didn't get rough with it as I'm waiting on the full set of skids (hope Matt ships them fast as always).

On my way back to the shed, I stopped at Tractor Supply and picked up a 2" ball, so I can now trailer it with the trailer dog. I also added the front trunk I had on the Honda. Leaving the rear plain for now, or at least till Colorado 09. The rear box I have also holds my flat gas packs. Rest of the pictures if interested is at the end of my misc albums, click the link below.

How does it compare to the Rincon? Is the ride as good? How about the handling. I thought the ones I test drove had a lot heavier steering.

I thought the Rincon was King of the Hill. It rode like a Cadillac, but handled the Rocky mountains like an old worn out dog. Bomb has a stiffer suspension, phenomenal engine braking, get up and go! I didn't notice anything with the steering. Being the 1st run, I did baby it. The soft ride on the rinny I bottomed out a lot. With my easy ride today I didn't really try to get the suspension to bottom out.

I'm holding off on tires at the moment. I had horn's on both the Rinny & Kodiak. I've been looking at other tires, rims, and decided to hold off for now.

ATVer~ Your review of your experiance was the selling factor. Thanks... Beer
