I will make a post, many have probably seen this at other boards but here ya go.

I bought an LED light for my atv off of Ebay a few months ago.

Although it looked cool, everyone complained that it was hard to see, and even though I never see it, in dusty trail conditions it is nice for the guy behind you to know where you are.

So my mind got to working and I headed to the local store and found some LED clearance lights, knowing how the light from Ebay was constructed I was pretty sure I could make the clearance light work. I brought the light home and applied my theory and it worked.

So now I sat and thought and came up with 7 designs, I shared those designs with my closest friends. This was the winner.

So now to make that take life, I started off with a paper template. I transferred that to a piece of aluminum that I had at laying around

I took that to the sheet metal brake and bent up the edges so the piece would appear to be a solid chunk of Aluminium. Took the piece to a local boat manufacture and had them weld up the corners, again to give it that look that it was solid.

Then it was time to sand, debur and polish.

And now mounted on the bike

Mounted up

Taillight

Stoplight

Nice touch with the SLOW MOVING VECHILE sign! Thumbup rol

Ehhh...I think that's a "YIELD" sign, in other words, "Move over, or you get runned over" Smile

Very nice Bruuuuce, Cob had a good idea though, they should have spelled Bombardier. Or, maybe BRP. Still cool as heck!

I would like to think they would sale but I doubt they will. Would make them if anyone wanted them. I may replace my LED's with clear lens red LED's that I just found but not sure yet.

Yeah I know, those polaris guys like to make jabs about the SMV triangle but in Missouri it is a LAW that you have to have one, that and a 7 foot flag so, I get to be the but of jokes. But that is okay.

Where did you find the clear LED's? I'd like a couple for side "rock" lights & backup lights.

Also I was thinking LED's were "single element", so to speek. So how did you get two brightness levels?
